Actually I’m talking about my Apple Airport Base Station which is my wireless cable modem router (for those not used to geek-speak you can say ‘HUH?’ about now). Anyway, this gizmo allows me to connect my PowerBook to the internet at high speed without wires and the connection had not been working this past month. Some snafu with the software update I did on my laptop probably had much to do with it. But after much fiddling around things seem to be going swimmingly at the moment.
That’s a poor excuse for a POTD but sometimes that just happens.
And it must be a slow news day in Honolulu today as KGMB-TV once again ran my accident photo (see previous post) on their 6 p.m. newscast tonight. And there wasn’t even much of an update to the story.
