Cold water science

As you might guess from the header graphic this week I’m flying, just to Oahu though. Here’s a shot after taking off from Kona International Airport of the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii at Keahole Point. They pump the cold, nutrient rich deep ocean water off the point and use that for a bunch of things like growing fish, lobster, abalone and use the cold water in pipeing for irrigation and air conditioning.
