Candied Pecans (low-carb)

Yield: About 16 one-ounce servings
Oven Temp: 250ºF

1 Egg White
1 tsp. Cold Water
6 Drops EZ-Sweetz (or other sweetener) optional
1 Pound Raw Pecans
1 C. Just Like Sugar, tabletop
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Ground Ginger
1 tsp. Salt or Salt Substitute

Whisk together Egg White, Water and EZ-Sweetz into a froth in a big mixing bowl. Add Pecans and mix until well coated.

In a large Ziploc bag mix Just Like Sugar, Cinnamon, Ground Ginger and Salt. Mix these dry ingredients well then add the Pecans and shake until they are well coated.

Spread Pecans on a large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 250ºF for one hour. Stir Pecans every 15 minutes to break apart and so the wet parts dry.

Remove from oven, let cool before packing. The Candied Pecans will crisp when they cool.
