Stones, not Beatles
Obviously the folks at CrunchGear are too young to know the difference between The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.

The Fab Four were the Beatles, the Fab Five aren’t the Rolling Stones but are on a Bravo cable TV show and march to a different kind of beat.

Got Grease?

Friday, May 4th, 2007

Went to see the musical Grease performed by the Parker School Dramatiques at the school’s theatre in Waimea. This was opening night and the house was packed. Go see the play. Good music and fun performances.

May 4, 5, 6, 11 and 12
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
Sunday at 2:30pm

In the play dialogue I’m just not sure if they said ‘solid’ back in the 50s to mean ‘affirmative.’ I think maybe that’s from the 70s.

50s=cool (I think exacatamundo came from The Fonz and TV so it doesn’t count)
60s=right on, I dig it, far out, cool
70s=solid, boss, righteous, cool
80s=bitchin’, irie, totally, cool
90s=killer, wicked, awesome, cool
00s=da bomb, digg it, cool
any others?
