Fellow Big Island blogger and radio personality Darrin Carlson and myself at the Hawaii Community College Earth Fair 2009 at the UH-Hilo campus. No he didn’t interview me, thank-goodness, but he did some broadcasting and tweet-casting from the fair. In the ‘old days’ we’d call this guy plugged-in but I think he was mostly wireless today.
I spent Monday and Tuesday on the east side of the Big Island shooting football teams for our annual football tab.
Anyway, I spent Monday night in Hilo and the area has plenty of Coqui Frogs. I know some people are either used to the very loud, high pitched calls of the male frogs or actually like the sounds but I could do without them. I was on the fourth floor of a hotel with the sliding doors closed, drapes pulled and air conditioner on and I could still here them.
