Firecracker Fest
Tuesday, January 1st, 2008A celebration of life
Sunday, December 23rd, 2007Fröhliche Weihnachten - Merry Christmas
Saturday, December 22nd, 2007Hosts Sabine and Sven on the far end as Sven takes a photo during a pre-Christmas dinner.
Ice cream bananas for dessert, lots of good stuff for dinner before this but we were too busy eating and talking for photos.
We kinda ran out of proper glasses but Champagne in a Jack Daniels glass will do for me.
Some toasting going on.
German chocolates also joned the Champagne.
Dining by lantern light. Lots of Champagne bottles on the table.
Party On
Friday, December 14th, 2007Only a few photos from the Christmas party in no particular order

Dinner’s done, now what’s for dessert?

Dessert’s done, now how about those prizes?

Dance fever.

More fever.

Gettin’ da grindz

A paparazzi moment.

Making a pass, it’s not what you think.
Sugar never tasted so good — White Stripes

So where is everyone going to watch Hawaii play Georgia in the Sugar Bowl?
The game is on at 3:30pm Hawaii Standard Time (for times where you live click here) I’m sure there will be various pre-game shows on all the local channels. The game is being broadcast on FOX. Some lucky reporters and photogs from Hawaii media will be heading off for New Orleans for the big show.
So that seems like a reasonable time in the afternoon to have recovered from new year’s eve partying. But where to go? Sports bar? Home? Beach? Well, nix the beach unless you’ve got a long extension cord. I’m off on that day that that should help, unless some big news event happens.
Pre-Feast Feast
Thursday, November 22nd, 2007This was lunch, now what’s for dinner?
*update* Chowed down on prime rib, seafood, shortribs, a plate of assorted desserts for dinner with friends. I’m full but I’ll miss the turkey leftovers but not the clean-up.
And for the new banner picture at top. The snow-capped Mauna Kea summit. Will probably get more snow as we enter winter but nice sight to see now.
