Sugar BowlSo where is everyone going to watch Hawaii play Georgia in the Sugar Bowl?

The game is on at 3:30pm Hawaii Standard Time (for times where you live click here) I’m sure there will be various pre-game shows on all the local channels. The game is being broadcast on FOX. Some lucky reporters and photogs from Hawaii media will be heading off for New Orleans for the big show.

So that seems like a reasonable time in the afternoon to have recovered from new year’s eve partying. But where to go? Sports bar? Home? Beach? Well, nix the beach unless you’ve got a long extension cord. I’m off on that day that that should help, unless some big news event happens.

Thanksgiving Day lunch

This was lunch, now what’s for dinner?

*update* Chowed down on prime rib, seafood, shortribs, a plate of assorted desserts for dinner with friends. I’m full but I’ll miss the turkey leftovers but not the clean-up.

And for the new banner picture at top. The snow-capped Mauna Kea summit. Will probably get more snow as we enter winter but nice sight to see now.
