Iolani Palace was the home of the Hawaiian monarchy before it was overthrown by the United States. Many folks will recognize the Palace as the supposed building that housed Steve McGarrett and his Hawaii 5-0 crimebusting team in the upper right room. Of course that was just TV, there were no offices in the palace for law enforcement officals.
