Lunch in the clouds

I stopped to have lunch today on a bluff next to Saddle Road looking towards Mauna Loa and Mt. Hualalai. A huge cloud bank swept in like a slow-motion wave crashing onshore at Sandy Beach, enveloping everything and obscuring the view. And like the water at Sandy’s racing up the beach to meet my feet the clouds came up the bluff and surrounded me.
