Hail unto thee

Click on the above image to view a short video, pretty shaky as I forgot to turn-on the image stabilizer on the camera. Hiked through a hailstorm today on Mauna Kea with a search team looking for a missing hiker. The hail is light in this video and it got heavier later in the hike till the ground was covered in white. Fog with 100′ visibility, freezing temperatures, freezing rain, hail and wind. Not a good day to be lost on the mountain.
