Koh-Khee

I spent Monday and Tuesday on the east side of the Big Island shooting football teams for our annual football tab.

Anyway, I spent Monday night in Hilo and the area has plenty of Coqui Frogs. I know some people are either used to the very loud, high pitched calls of the male frogs or actually like the sounds but I could do without them. I was on the fourth floor of a hotel with the sliding doors closed, drapes pulled and air conditioner on and I could still here them.

Here’s a sample of what it sounded like in the hotel’s parking lot (not inside the room). And this place only had a few frogs.
