A beautiful morning on the Saddle Road along the drive over from Hilo to Waimea on Thanksgiving morning (Nov 27). The little yellow flowers are a noxious little pest called Fireweed.

One of the turkeys was cooked in an imu or was smoked, in any case it was moist and delicious! I went back for seconds to grab some green beans.
I brought over a cheesecake and cherry pie topping and it went quickly. People were probably in pumpkin overload.
